Family Tree Research
Tailored to your own needs I can carry out research into your family tree on an hourly basis, including archive visits if required

Photographs can be provided of memorial inscriptions or places that are related to your family history.
I can also visit and photograph items of interest held at the archives of the West Midlands.

Family History USB
Keep all of your family tree research safe by
storing it on a custom Family History USB with presentation box. Your research will be uploaded in GEDCOM * format and will also contain all images and research used to compile your tree and will often include extra information not covered in the scope of the report.
Packages
Research into one line of your family tree back to the early 1800s, this could be your maternal or paternal line or a surname of your choice and will include:
-The names of direct ancestors for the chosen line, with a chronological biography including the year of birth, marriage and death for each person.
-Occupations and places of residence, if available.
-Names of ancestor’s siblings and children.
-Information on WW1 involvement if applicable.
-Copies of wills if available.
-Copies of original census images.
-1939 register.
-Newspaper reports.
-Old photographs and maps.
-Context timeline of local and world events.
-A family tree
-Further research suggestions.
Research into two family lines of your choice back to at least the early 1800’s, this could be both your maternal and paternal line and will include:
-The names of direct ancestors for both chosen lines, with a chronological biography including the births, marriages and deaths.
-Occupations and places of residence, if available.
-Names of ancestors siblings and children.
-Information on WW1 involvement if applicable.
-Copies of wills if available.
-Copies of original census records, including 1921.
-Newspaper reports.

-Context timeline of local and world events.

Research into your 8 x great grandparents from online sources. A dropdown pedigree tree will be produced of your direct ancestors with a report presented in a narrative format of individual family groups placed in national and local historical context. Any photographs or other family documents provided by the client can be included.

-Copies of wills if applicable.

* GEDCOM is the universal standard for genealogy files and can be used with a variety of Family tree applications, including Ancestry and Family search.
**If research leads to Scottish ancestry, a pre agreed extra fee of £20 – £40 may be required per package, as the Scottish Genealogical records are only available as a ‘pay as you go’ service.
